Woodgrange Park Cemetery can supply concrete surrounds in a range of sizes and prices to meet your needs. Wooden surrounds (or frames) must not be installed because they are not weather resistant and will rot down over time, become unsightly and possibly cause health and safety problems. Only surrounds purchased from Woodgrange Park Cemetery are permitted and we reserve the right to remove and dispose of any unauthorised frames, surrounds or markers.
How to order a surround:
1) Choose your surround from the items shown below
2) Use the "place order here" button at the bottom of this page to open up an order form. Please make sure that the order is placed by the holder of the Deed of Right of Burial to the grave (the person that the grave is registered to). Once you submit the form it comes through to us automatically
3) We will check the form and email an invoice for you to payment (our bank details will be on the invoice). You can then make a bank transfer (we cannot accept card payments)
4) Once payment is received, we will order your surround and arrange for it to be installed on the grave. The larger surrounds can take up to 8 weeks to be laid.
If you purchase a adult grave surround of either 7ft x 3ft (£605.00) or 6ft 6ins x 2ft 6 ins (£555.00) or a 'double' surround (£830.00) then Cemetery permit fees for any memorial that you arrange for a stonemason on our approved list to make and install are considered pre-paid. (The permit fee is a charge made by the Cemetery for checking and authorising the installation of a memorial by an approved stonemason - it does not include the cost of the memorial itself. If you purchase an adult surround of 6ft x 2ft or a child surround, Cemetery permit fees are NOT included. A child grave surround cannot be installed on an adult grave. All surrounds are made from a mould and may have minor flaws and blemishes. Please note: we cannot arrange for you to be present when the surround is being fitted.
