The North East corner of the Cemetery contains a large number of graves that are not visited (although there are a handful that are visited and cared for by relatives of the deceased). Over many years there has been growth of a large number of self-seeded trees, as well are brambles and ivy. Unfortunately people using Queensbury Road have thought it appropriate to discard their litter and surplus items over the wall, creating a significant problem with littering.
The team at Woodgrange Park Cemetery decided to try to improve the area over a period of time and have now cleared all the litter and removed undergrowth, exposing the graves that had previously been hidden.
